REPRESENTATIVE CASES

For Futurewise:

Kittitas County Conservation et al. v. Kittitas County. Successfully challenged a broad spectrum of flaws in Kittitas County’s comprehensive plan, including improper rural densities, oversized urban growth areas, and others.

Futurewise et al. v. Clallam County. Successfully challenged Clallam County’s review and revision of its comprehensive plan, including identifying flaws in the County’s rural densities, Limited Areas of More Intense Rural Development, capital facilities plan, and others.

For the United Nations:

Prosecutor v. Milutinovic, et al. Part of a nine-attorney international team that prosecuted the President of Serbia and Serbian political, police, and military commanders for the crimes of Kosovo.

For the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office:

State v. Johnson. Responded to allegations of racially biased policing on the part of the Seattle Police Department. Evaluated a broad spectrum of data, including arrest rates, training and deployment choices, and demographic data on the drug-dealing population of Seattle. Successfully negotiated a compromise resolution.
