Mickey
Gendler has more than 20 years experience successfully
representing clients throughout Washington and Oregon. His
practice emphasizes environmental, real property, water
resources, commercial and civil rights litigation and mediation.
He is a member of the Washington State Bar, Oregon State
Bar, and all Washington federal bars, Ninth Circuit, United
States Supreme Court. Mickey maintains a second office in
Bend, Oregon. He received his J.D. magna cum laude from
Georgetown University Law Center. He has been a member of
the Washington State American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU)
Legal Committee for 23 years, and currently serves as chair.
Mickey has been listed in "Best Lawyers in America,"
under Environmental Law. In
his "spare" time he cooks, plays conga drums,

David S. Mann has more than 17 years experience successfully representing clients throughout Washington on cases involving land use, environmental and property litigation and appeals, with a focus on protecting and enhancing quality of life and supporting smart growth. David has significant experience in federal and state courts, state administrative hearings boards, and local government hearing examiner and commissions. He is a member of the Washington State Bar, and the Eastern and Western District of Washington federal bars, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. David received his J.D. with honors and a certificate in environmental law from Lewis & Clark Law School. He has served as the president of the Washington Environmental Council and the Northwest Fund for the Environment. Keith Scully is a Senior Associate with Gendler & Mann. Keith has over 9 years of legal experience successfully litigating a broad variety of legal matters. His practice focuses on environmental and land use matters, complex commercial litigation, civil rights litigation, and appeals from both administrative decisions and trial. He has worked as the Legal Director of Futurewise, where he litigated Growth Management Act, Shoreline Management Act, and SEPA appeals to all levels of the Washington State court system and Growth Boards. He has also prosecuted war criminals for the United Nations, and served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for King County, where he focused his career on appeals and complex crimes. He started his legal career with a large Northwest law firm, practicing energy and telecommunications regulation and general commercial litigation. Keith is a Board Member of King County Conservation Voters and volunteers his time for Futurewise and as a mentor and attorney-adviser for the University of Washington and Seattle University schools of law. Brendan W. Donckers is an Associate with Gendler & Mann. Brendan recently worked as a staff attorney with the Washington Supreme Court Commissioner’s Office and provided legislative counsel to the House Democratic Caucus on environmental issues. He has previously worked for the General Counsel to the Mayor of Seattle, consulted with the City of Seattle’s Office of Economic Development, and authored a bench guide for the Washington Supreme Court’s Gender and Justice Commission. Brendan’s legal experience also includes extensive volunteer work with Seattle University’s Access to Justice Institute and the Ronald L. Peterson Legal Clinic. Prior to returning to Seattle, Brendan worked on an international global security initiative with the United Nations Foundation in Washington, D.C. and served as an aide to a U.S. Congressman. Brendan founded and continues to manage his own consulting firm and serves on the boards of the King County Conservation Voters, Friends of Seattle, and the Renton Skyway Boys and Girls Club.
